Norton Download Insight will give you information on files before you download them so that you can determine if they are safe or not. Details can be shown that tell you if other people in the Norton Community have downloaded the same file that you are and if there are any issues. Norton intelligently determines based on heuristics if the file is deemed safe, suspicious, or a known malware threat.
Norton File Insight
Using the same technologies as Norton Download Insight, Norton File Insight is able to show you exactly what a particular program is, when it was installed and last used, how it got on your computer, potential actions performed, and performance reports. You will know details on the exact origin of each program on your computer and compare with the norton knowledgebase if the program is trusted or not.
Norton System Insight
Many computer users will witness performance changes in their day to day computer operations. Norton System Insight has been developed to help users easily diagnose why their system may be slowing down. This is done by monitoring the processes running on your system and logging events that have taken place on your PC such as newly installed programs and security risk detections. Check historical information that will allow you to determine if an installed application has lowered your system performance and get information on how to alter the program from running or simply uninstalling it.
